Senior Backend Enginner

Senior Backend Engineer We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to design and build scalable backend systems and data infrastructure that power our platform. You will work on high-impact projects spanning distributed systems, data pipelines, and core service architecture. - Design and implement robust backend services and APIs that handle large-scale data processing and real-time requests - Architect and optimize data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehousing solutions to support analytics and business intelligence needs - Lead technical design reviews and mentor junior engineers on backend best practices, data modeling, and system design patterns - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data schemas, APIs, and integration points that support product requirements - Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, implement caching strategies, and optimize database queries for high-throughput systems - Contribute to infrastructure improvements, including monitoring, logging, and deployment automation for backend services - 5+ years of professional backend development experience with proficiency in one or more languages (Python, Java, Go, Scala, or equivalent) - Strong expertise in relational databases, SQL optimization, and experience with NoSQL databases or data warehousing solutions - Demonstrated experience designing and building data pipelines, ETL systems, or working with big data technologies - Solid understanding of distributed systems concepts, microservices architecture, and system design principles - Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization technologies like Docker/Kubernetes - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
